Starting a Company!
Director of my own Company.
This isn’t an end in itself and I would be lying if I said I dream at night of getting the title Director on my business card.
Starting my own business comes from the belief that I can do something worthwhile.
Not only that I can do something worthwhile but I can build a lasting entity to allow others to participate and share the knowledge and skills I have more widely than I could as a sole trader or employee.
So it’s time to sit in the big chair.
If you are interested in what’s involved – I am going to blog it in the pages below.
Don’t take this as a guide on how to do this – it’s a chronicle of what I have done – mistakes and all!
First things first
Before starting a company I have already spent some time establishing that I have the funds to do this, the potential customers, a marketing and sales plan and have taken advice on the legal and fiscal responsibilities of doing this.
If you are thinking of starting your own company at a bare minimum you are going to need to speak to an accountant and a solicitor.
Getting good advice is vital in any endeavor.
My to do list
This is my to do list – expect it to grow over the weeks as I discover all the things I didn’t think of at the start of the Company.
- Bank Account
- Tax Registrations
- LinkedIn page
- Facebook Page
- Business procedures
- Accounting Software
- Office Software
- Case studies
